Can I do it during my lunch break?

Absolutely. A single EMS treatment typically takes 30 minutes to complete.

How many sessions will I need to see results?

Most patients receive 6 treatments per area. The exact number will depend on each person and the area being treated.

How often/far apart should the sessions be?

EMS treatments with Venus Bliss MAX are recommended as a minimum of one treatment per week with at least 72 hrs between treatments.

How long does a treatment session last?

Each EMS (FlexMAX) treatment lasts 15-60 minutes.

What does the treatment feel like?

Venus Bliss MAX uses a system called AdapTrain, which breaks the treatment into three parts: A warm-up or muscle prep phase, during which you’ll set your intensity level; the training cycle phase, which provides a varied and unpredictable program of stimulation to confuse your muscles for optimal outcomes; and the active recovery phase when your treatment will decline in intensity. Your treatment provider can adjust the intensity for your comfort at any time.

Will it be painful?

EMS treatments with Venus Bliss MAX received high comfort ratings during clinical studies and based on the patient feedback shared by our partners.

How will I feel after my treatment?

The area may look a little flushed and feel tender, and some patients may experience a little bit of swelling, muscle spasms, lack of/reduced or increased muscle sensitivity, muscle soreness or tenderness, tingling in the treatment area, and frequent urination or bowel stimulation. All of these are normal and common following an EMS treatment or up to 48 hrs after but it should be mild enough to not interfere with your daily activities.

Is there downtime after the treatment / How long is the recovery time?

There is no downtime and no physical restrictions that you need to worry about. You should be able to resume your regular daily activities immediately after completing an EMS treatment.

Do I need to do anything after my treatment?

You don’t need to do anything after your EMS treatment.
